PM SURYA GHAR: MUFT BIJLI YOJNA IN RAJASTHAN

Will the Minister of NEW AND RENEWABLE ENERGY be pleased to state:
(a) the total number of domestic consumers benefited under the PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli
Yojna in Rajasthan as of December 2025, district-wise;
(b) whether the Rajasthan Government has made any provision for providing a certain number
of units of electricity free to households that have obtained connections under the PM Surya
Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojna;
(c) the details of the number of rooftop solar power installations completed and the subsidies
disbursed under the scheme; and
(d) the details of progress in the implementation of the scheme, State-wise and the list of the
best-performing States?

(a) to (d) Since the launch of the PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana (PMSG: MBY) in February,
2024, a total of 20,85,514 rooftop solar (RTS) systems have been installed across the country,
benefitting 26,14,446 households with disbursement of Rs 14,771.82 crore as Central Financial
Assistance (CFA) till 31 December 2025. The state/UT-wise detail of progress made under the
scheme, in the order of number of RTS systems installed, is given in Annexure I.
In the state of Rajasthan, under the scheme, a total of 1,19,006 RTS systems have been installed,
benefitting 1,22,027 households with disbursement of Rs 823.12 crore as CFA till 31 December
2025. The district-wise detail of progress made under the scheme in the state of Rajasthan, is given
in Annexure II.
The Rajasthan Government has made a provision of providing 150 units per month free to the
beneficiaries who were part of earlier Mukhymantri Nishulk Bijli Yojana and installed RTS plants
of capacity of 1.1 kW and more under PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana.
