VARSHA EKNATH GAIKWAD: Will the Minister of MICRO, SMALL AND MEDIUM ENTERPRISES be pleased to state: (a) the details of the implementation of the PM-Vishwakarma Scheme, indicating the number of applications received, beneficiaries verified, PM-Vishwakarma ID Cards issued and the beneficiaries trained since the launch of the Scheme in Maharashtra, district-wise; (b) the details of beneficiaries who have received toolkit incentives, collateral-free credit, digital transaction incentives and marketing support in the State, trade-wise; (c) whether the Government has reviewed the pace of implementation of the Scheme in Maharashtra, particularly with regard to beneficiary verification, credit linkage, toolkit distribution and completion of skill training and if so, the findings thereof; (d) whether all eighteen notified traditional trades are adequately represented in Maharashtra and if not, the measures taken to improve coverage thereof; and (e) the steps taken to strengthen market linkages, e-commerce access, branding, product quality and export opportunities for PM-Vishwakarma artisans in Maharashtra? ANSWER MINISTER OF STATE FOR MICRO, SMALL AND MEDIUM ENTERPRISES (SUSHRI SHOBHA KARANDLAJE) (a): PM Vishwakarma scheme was launched on 17.09.2023 to provide end-to-end holistic support to artisans and craftspeople of 18 traditional trades who work with their hands and tool. District-wise details of the implementation of the PM-Vishwakarma Scheme, indicating the number of applications received, beneficiaries verified, PM-Vishwakarma ID Cards issued and the beneficiaries trained since the launch of the Scheme in Maharashtra are at Annexure-I. (b): Trade-wise, details of beneficiaries who have received toolkit incentives, collateral-free credit, digital transaction incentives and marketing support in the State of Maharashtra are at Annexure-II. (c): At the National level, the implementation of the Scheme is monitored through regular meetings of the National Steering Committee (NSC), which is co-chaired by Secretary, Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE), Secretary, Department of Financial Services (DFS) and Secretary, Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME). Further, at the state level, State Monitoring Committee (SMC) headed by the Principal Secretary (Industries/MSME) monitors the implementation of the scheme at State level. (d): All eighteen notified traditional trades as per scheme guidelines are covered in the state of Maharashtra. (e): Under the PM Vishwakarma Scheme, beneficiaries are provided support for marketing, branding, packaging etc. As on date, 82 trade fairs and 37 State-level PM Vishwakarma exhibitions have been organised across the country including, two state-level fairs/exhibitions in Maharasthra. ****Annexure -I Annexure -I referred to in reply to part (a) of the Lok Sabha unstarred question no. 1875 for answer on 30.07.2026 District-wise applications received, beneficiaries verified, PM-Vishwakarma ID Cards issued and the beneficiaries trained under PM Vishwakarma in Maharashtra Successful S.
