Parliament Question: PPP Projects at major ports

SEEMA DWIVEDI: Will the Minister of PORTS, SHIPPING AND WATERWAYS be pleased to state: (a) the details of the number of PPP projects operating at major ports; (b) the details of total private investment mobilized in port infrastructure during the last five years; (c) whether any PPP projects have faced financial difficulties or contract renegotiation; (d) if so, the details thereof; and (e) the steps taken to standardize concession agreements for port PPP projects? (b) In the last five years, the total private investment of approximately ₹8,898.43crore has been mobilized at the Major Ports. (c) & (d) The details of PPP projects which have faced financial difficulties or contract renegotiation are enclosed as Annexure-II.
