SEEMA DWIVEDI: Will the Minister of PORTS, SHIPPING AND WATERWAYS be pleased to state: (a) the details of the number of PPP projects operating at major ports; (b) the details of total private investment mobilized in port infrastructure during the last five years; (c) whether any PPP projects have faced financial difficulties or contract renegotiation; (d) if so, the details thereof; and (e) the steps taken to standardize concession agreements for port PPP projects? ANSWER MINISTER OF PORTS, SHIPPING AND WATERWAYS (SHRI SARBANANDA SONOWAL) (a) There details of the number of PPP projects operating at Major Ports are enclosed as Annexure-I. (b) In the last five years, the total private investment of approximately ₹8,898.43crore has been mobilized at the Major Ports. (c) & (d) The details of PPP projects which have faced financial difficulties or contract renegotiation are enclosed as Annexure-II.
