GOVERNMENT OF INDIA MINISTRY OF TRIBAL AFFAIRS LOK SABHA UNSTARRED QUESTION No. 3205 TO BE ANSWERED ON 18.12.2025 PRE-MATRIC AND POST-MATRIC TRIBAL SCHOLARSHIPS 3205. Smt. Kanimozhi Karunanidhi: Will the Minister of TRIBAL AFFAIRS be pleased to state: - (a) the total number of beneficiaries under the Pre-Matric and Post-Matric Scholarship schemes for Scheduled Tribe students across all States and Union Territories during the last five years, year-wise, State-wise and district- wise for Tamil Nadu; and (b) the total funds allocated and released by the Union Government for these two scholarship schemes across all States and Union Territories during the said period, year-wise and State-wise? ANSWER MINISTER OF STATE FOR TRIBAL AFFAIRS (SHRI DURGADAS UIKEY) (a) The total number of beneficiaries under the Pre-Matric and Post-Matric Scholarship schemes for Scheduled Tribe students across all States and Union Territories during the last five years is given at Annexure-I. Further, the district-wise number of beneficiaries in State Govt. of Tamil Nadu under the Pre- Matric and Post-Matric Scholarship schemes for Scheduled Tribe students during the last five years is given at Annexure-II.
