PRODUCTION TARGETS AND WELFARE INITIATIVES OF SCCL
1009. SHRI RAVI CHANDRA VADDIRAJU.
Will the Minister of COAL be pleased to state:
a. the coal production and dispatch targets set for Singareni Collieries Company Limited
(SCCL) for the financial year 2025-26;
b. the details of the year-to-date (YTD) achievement of SCCL against its annual target of
72 Million Tonnes (MT) as of January 2026;
c. the measures taken to support SCCL in adopting “Mass Production Technologies” such
as Continuous Miners in its underground mines; and
d. the status of the “Coal Land Acquisition and Management Portal” (CLAMP)
implementation for SCCL’s new mining blocks in Telangana?

(a) & (b): Coal Production and Dispatch targets and actual of Singareni Collieries
Company Limited (SCCL) for the financial year 2025-26 and achievement up to 31st January
2026 is as below:

(c): At present, 21 underground (UG) mines are in operation in SCCL, contributing about
7% of the total coal production. All UG mines are mechanized or semi-mechanized. Mass
production technologies such as Continuous Miner (5 units in four mines), Longwall in one
mine and Bolter Miner in one mine, are altogether deployed in six feasible UG mines, which
together contribute around 40% of the total UG coal production of SCCL. Further, it isproposed to introduce two additional Continuous Miners, one each in GDK-11 mine and
Adriyala mine, to enhance underground coal production.
(d): Coal Land Acquisition and Management Portal (CLAMP) was launched on 29.10.2025.
The portal has been envisaged as an integrated online process management tool for the
Government companies and Ministry of Coal to examine and approve proposals for acquisition
of land under the Coal Bearing Areas (Acquisition and Development) Act, 1957 (CBA Act).
No proposals for acquisition of lands for coal mining blocks of SCCL in Telangana under the
CBA Act, 1957 have been received in Ministry of Coal.
