“Progress of Ayush grid project in digitizing patient records in Madhya Pradesh”
1130. Shri Ashok Singh:
Will the Minister of Ayush be pleased to state:
(a) the progress of the "Ayush Grid" project in digitizing patient records and standardizing
treatment protocols across Ayush hospitals in Madhya Pradesh;
(b) the number of youth/startups supported to develop Ayush-based applications (e.g.,Yoga
apps, Tele-consultation platforms) under the Ministry's innovation schemes; and
(c) the status of networking Ayush educational institutes in the State with the National
Knowledge Network (NKN) for research collaboration?
ANSWER

(a) The Ayush Grid has improved access to Ayush-based primary healthcare by
strengthening digital infrastructure and standardizing treatment protocols. Through
platforms such as the Ayush Hospital Management Information System (A-HMIS)
integrated with the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM), patient registration,
electronic health records, referrals and continuity of care are being enabled digitally.
Real-time dashboards and standardized reporting further support monitoring, planning
and targeted interventions by State and district authorities, thereby enhancing availability
and accessibility of Ayush services. These digital systems have been implemented
nationwide, and users across all States and Union Territories are utilizing the Ayush Grid
platforms and services including Madhya Pradesh.
(b) Incubation Centre for Ayurveda Innovation and Entrepreneurship (iCAINE) at All India
Institute of Ayurveda (AIIA), under Ministry of Ayush functions as a sector focused
incubator for Ayurveda and allied sciences, supporting early stage innovators and
startups through incubation, mentorship and facilitation of linkages with national and
state innovation/seed schemes. Within this mandate:
- Support has been given through the Smart India Hackathon (SIH) Program
2024 to 12 Teams across India representing All India Council for Technical
Education (AICTE) approved colleges.
- 101 Individuals have been supported as part of pre-incubation program.
(c) No such information is available with the Ministry at present. However, National
Knowledge Network (NKN) connectivity has been provided to National Institutes and
Regional Research Institutes (RRIs) functioning under various research councils under
the Ministry. This includes 27 institutes under the Central Council for Research in
Ayurvedic Sciences (CCRAS), such as the Regional Ayurveda Research Institute
(RARI), Gwalior, located in the State of Madhya Pradesh.
