(a) the details of progress of the Pradhan Mantri-Krishi Urja Suraksha evam Utthaan
Mahabhiyan (PM-KUSUM) which has surpassed 10,000 MW of installed capacity, State-
wise;
(b) the number of farmers who have benefitted from solar water pumps in Haryana
specifically in the Bhiwani and Mahendragarh districts;
(c) the details of the 75 percent subsidy model provided to farmers to reduce their
dependency on diesel pumps;
(d) the steps taken by the Government to promote Component-C for the solarization of
existing grid-connected agriculture pumps in Southern Haryana;
(e) the potential for setting up a Solar Park in the barren hilly terrains of the Aravallis in
Mahendragarh; and
(f) the incentives provided for domestic rooftop solar installations in rural households under
the Pradhan Mantri-Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana (PM- SGMBY)?

(a) The details of State/UT-wise RE capacity installed under PM-KUSUM scheme is placed at
Annexure-I.
(b) Under Component ‘B’ of PM-KUSUM scheme, as on date, a total of 1,84,862 solar pumps have
been installed in the State of Haryana. Out of these, 16,919 solar pumps have been installed in
Bhiwani district and 3,717 solar pumps are installed in Mahendragarh district, benefitting farmers.
(c) Under Component ‘B’ of PM-KUSUM scheme, Central Financial Assistance (CFA) of 30% (or
50% for North Eastern Region/Hilly region/Islands) of the benchmark cost or tender rates,
whichever is lower, is provided up to 7.5 HP. In addition, the respective state/UT provides at least
30% financial support. Balance cost is to be contributed by beneficiary.
As reported by State Implementing Agency (SIA) of Haryana, the subsidy pattern for solar pumps

(d) To increase the reach of PM KUSUM scheme including Component-C, extensive outreach and
capacity-building workshops are conducted by the Ministry from time to time. This also includes
periodic review and handholding meetings with the states.
(e) Under PM KUSUM, there is no provision of setting up of Solar Park. However, under
Component A of the scheme, renewable energy power plants up to 2 MW can be installed on
farmer’s land. As reported by SIA of the state of Haryana, total of 28.61 MW has been installed in
the state till 31.12.2025.
Under separate Solar Park scheme of the Ministry, no Solar Park is sanctioned or under consideration
for the state of Haryana.
(f) Under PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana the details of incentive provided is as follows:-
• For individual households, the CFA is Rs. 30,000 / kWp for the first 2 kWp and Rs. 18,000 / kWp
for the additional one kWp. The subsidy is capped at 3 kWp rooftop solar plant capacity for
individual household.
• For Group Housing Societies/Residential Welfare Associations (GHS/RWA) the CFA is Rs.
18,000 / kWp with rooftop solar plant capacity limit of 500 kWp.
• In case of special category states/UTs including Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, J&K, Ladakh,
States in the North East Region, UTs of A&N and Lakshadweep, the CFA is 10% higher.
