a) the total number of projects approved under the Green Energy Corridor (GEC) scheme, phase-
wise (Phase-I and Phase-II) and State-wise;
b) the physical progress achieved in each of the approved projects along with their original and
revised timelines for completion, phase and State-wise;
c) whether any delays have been observed in the execution of these projects and if so, the details
of such delayed projects along with reasons therefor, State-wise;
d) the details of funds sanctioned and released for each approved project during the last five years,
phase and State-wise; and
e) the details of new transmission capacity created through these projects including sub-stations
commissioned and renewable energy evacuation capacity added, phase and State-wise?

(a) & (b) The total numbers of projects approved under Green Energy Corridor (GEC) scheme (Phase-
I and Phase-II) and its physical progress including completion timelines, phase and State wise is placed
at Annexure – I.
(c) Under GEC-I, out of the eight States, six have completed all the projects, viz. Rajasthan, Karnataka,
Andhra Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh Madhya Pradesh and Tamil Nadu. Further States of Maharashtra &
Gujarat have requested for extension due to severe ROW issues in these areas.
Further, GEC II is under implementation stage.
(d) The details of funds sanctioned and released for each approved project during the last five years,
phase and State-wise is placed at Annexure- II.
(e) A cumulative transmission capacity of 9,716.6 ckm transmission lines and 24,256 MVA substation
under GEC I &II enabling evacuation of around 24.6 GW of RE capacity. State wise details of new
