Will the Minister of STATISTICS AND PROGRAMME IMPLEMENTATION

be pleased to state:

(a) the details of the projects sanctioned under Member of Parliament Local Area Development Scheme (MPLADS) and achievement of Member of Parliaments in spending and utilisation of MPLADS funds, State-wise; and

(b) the details of reports on the Periodic Labour Force Survey (PLFS) and Employment, Household Consumption Expenditure Survey (HCES) in both urban and rural areas, the Comprehensive Modular Survey (CMS), the Annual Survey of Industries (ASI) on manufacturing and infrastructure projects monitoring with Support for Statistical Strengthening (SSS) to enhance their capacity and infrastructure development therein during the last five financial years, State-wise? (a) The state-wise details of the works recommended, sanctioned, completed and in progress during the 18th Lok Sabha under Member of Parliament Local Area Development Scheme (MPLADS) is enclosed (Annexure I).

(b) The details of reports on Periodic Labour Force Survey (PLFS), Household Consumption Expenditure Survey (HCES), ComprehensiveAnnual Modular Survey (CAMS)/Comprehensive Modular Survey (CMS), Annual Survey of Industries (ASI) and Support for Statistical Strengthening (SSS) during the last five financial years are enclosed (Annexure II).

(SSS) during the last five financial years are as under:

Periodic Labour Force Survey (PLFS):  During last five financial years, the following reports on the Periodic Labour Force Survey

have been published and can be accessed through in the website of MoSPI:

1. Five Annual Reports from 2020-21 to 2023-24 and 2025 have been published. 2020-21 refers to the survey period of July, 2020 to June, 2021 and accordingly for other years.

2025 refers to the survey period of January-December, 2025.

2. Nineteen Quarterly Bulletins covering the period April-June 2021 to October-December 2024 were published.

3. To generate high-frequency labour force indicators, the publication of Monthly Bulletins of PLFS was initiated from April, 2025. Thereafter, 12 Monthly Bulletins for the period April 2025 to March 2026 were published.

Household Consumption Expenditure Survey (HCES):  The latest surveys on Household Consumption Expenditure (HCES) were conducted during August, 2022 – July, 2023 and August, 2023 – July, 2024 and the findings of the same were

published on the website of MoSPI and can be accessed through the following links:

 The NSO, MoSPI conducted the Comprehensive Modular Survey: Telecom (CMS: Telecom) during the period January to March, 2025 and Comprehensive Modular Survey: Education (CMS: Education) during the period April to June, 2025. Based on the results of the survey,

Support for Statistical Strengthening (SSS):  MoSPI is implementing Support for Statistical Strengthening (SSS) sub-scheme under the Capacity Development Scheme to strengthen statistical capacities and operations of State Directorates of Economics & Statistics (DES) to improve the collection, compilation and dissemination of reliable, timely and granular statistics.

It supports States/ UTs for participation in various national surveys as per their Advance Release Calendar (ARC) and also for generation of statistical indicators such as -GSDP, DDP, SDG and other indicators at State/sub-State level.
