SHRI DHARMENDRA YADAV: Will the Minister of FOOD PROCESSING INDUSTRIES be pleased to state: (a) the number of projects sanctioned under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Sampada Yojana (PMKSY) during the last three years and the current year, State-wise; (b) the number of farmers belonging to Other Backward Classes, Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes in Uttar Pradesh benefitted thereunder during the said period; (c) the number of projects operationalised under this yojana since its inception till July, 2025 especially in Uttar Pradesh; and (d) the extent to which the food processing and preservation capacity has been achieved through these projects? ANSWER THE MINISTER OF STATE FOR FOOD PROCESSING INDUSTRIES (SHRI RAVNEET SINGH) (a): The number of projects sanctioned under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan SAMPADA Yojana (PMKSY), State-wise, during the last three years and the current year is at Annexure. (b): Applicants including farmers belonging to ST, SC and OBC categories are eligible to apply under the PMKSY scheme. Under the scheme, 8.3% of total fund is earmarked for Scheduled Caste Sub-Plan (SCSP) and that of 4.3% for Tribal Sub Plan (TSP) with special concessions for SC/ST applicants being provided under the component scheme guidelines. A total of 09 projects by SC applicants have been approved in the state of Uttar Pradesh under PMKSY as on date, out of which 05 projects were approved in last three years. No project belonging to ST category applicants has been approved in the state of Uttar Pradesh till July, 2025.
