ANSWER THE MINISTER OF STATE FOR AGRICULTURE AND FARMERS WELFARE कृ िष एवं िकसान क(cid:670)ाण रा(cid:475) मं(cid:361)ी (SHRI RAMNATH THAKUR) (a) to (c) National Bee Board is implementing Central Sector Scheme of National Beekeeping and Honey Mission (NBHM) to promote holistic growth of beekeeping industry for income and employment generation in the country, including Jharkhand. Under this scheme demand driven project-based assistance is provided to the implementing agencies. 12 projects were sanctioned for Rs. 896.84 lakh in the State of Jharkhand including Khunti Lok Sabha Constituency. Out of the 12 projects, 4 projects (for Rs. 228.50 lakh) including 2 projects (for Rs. 50.90 lakh) at Khunti Lok Sabha Constituency have been completed and 8 projects (for Rs. 668.34 lakh) including 6 projects at Khunti Lok Sabha Constituency (for Rs. 443.93 lakh) are under implementation. National Bamboo Mission (NBM) a component under the Centrally Sponsored Krishonnati Yojana, is implemented in 24 states/UTs including Jharkhand to focus on the development of complete value chain of bamboo sector to link growers (farmers), primary processors, artisans with industry starting from planting material, plantation, creation of facilities for collection, aggregation, processing, micro, small & medium enterprises, skill development and brand building initiative. The scheme is implemented in non-forest Government land and private farmers fields, in the States where it has social, commercial and economical advantage of bamboo. All the districts in Jharkhand including Khunti Lok Sabha Constituency are covered under NBM. Allocation of Rs. 2064.00 lakh (Central Share) sanctioned to the State of Jharkhand for implementing NBM from 2018-19 to 2025- 26. *****
