Projects under Watershed Development Component of PMKSY in Andhra Pradesh
3960. Shri Yerram Venkata Subba Reddy:
Will the Minister of Rural Development be pleased to state:
(a) whether it is a fact that 60 projects have been sanctioned for Andhra Pradesh under
Watershed Development Component of Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchayee Yojana (PMKSY);
(b) if so, the details thereof, district-wise;
(c) the details of projects that have been completed and projects that are incomplete, district-
wise; and
(d) whether there is any time and cost overrun of projects, if so, the details thereof?

(a) to (d): Watershed Development Component of Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchayee Yojana
2.0 (WDC-PMKSY 2.0) has been approved by Government for the period 2021-22 to 2025-
26. Under WDC-PMKSY 2.0, Department has sanctioned 59 projects covering an area of
2.44 lakh hectare with total cost of Rs. 555.31 crore to Andhra Pradesh. District-wise details
of watershed development projects sanctioned under the WDC-PMKSY 2.0 in Andhra
Pradesh is given at Annexure. All sanctioned WDC-PMKSY 2.0 projects are at various
stages of implementation and as such there is no cost overrun of projects.
