SHRI SUKANTA KUMAR PANIGRAHI: Will the Minister of Tribal Affairs be pleased to state: (a) whether the Government has allocated targeted PVTG Development Grants for comprehensive development of Dongria Kondh habitations, particularly in tribal and hilly regions of Odisha and if so, the details of funds sanctioned, released and utilised; (b) the present status of infrastructure, housing, education, healthcare, livelihood, connectivity and basic amenities provided to Dongria Kondh villages under ongoing initiatives; (c) the progress achieved so far under the Dharti Aaba Janjatiya Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan for holistic tribal village development, State-wise specifically for Odisha; and (d) whether the Government proposes to scale up focused interventions, saturation-based benefits, digital monitoring and convergence support and if so, the time-bound roadmap to ensure sustainable socio- economic upliftment of PVTG communities? ANSWER MINISTER OF STATE FOR TRIBAL AFFAIRS (SHRI DURGADAS UIKEY) (a): Pradhan Mantri Janjati Adivasi Nyaya Maha Abhiyan (PM JANMAN) was launched for socio- economic development of 75 PVTG communities residing in 18 states and one UT including for Dongria Kondh PVTG in Odisha. The mission aims to provide basic facilities to improve their socio-economic conditions such as safe housing, clean drinking water and improved access to education, health and nutrition, road and telecom connectivity, electrification of unelectrified households and sustainable livelihood opportunities in 3 years. These objectives are being met through 11 interventions implemented by 9-line Ministries. The details of financial progress for interventions of Ministry of Tribal Affairs under the abhiyan are given in Annexure-I. (b): As per data collected by the State Government, Dongria Kondh PVTG, along with other PVTGs, reside in Rayagada district of Odisha. The progress of various interventions under PM JANMAN in Rayagada district of Odisha is given in Annexure-II. (c): The details of the progress under the Dharti Aaba Janjatiya Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan, State-wise including Odisha, is given in Annexure III. (d): To ensure the effective implementation and monitoring the progress of the works under PM JANMAN, digital dashboard on PM GatiShakti portal has been developed. Besides, in coordination with State Governments, Information, Education and Communication (IEC) campaigns have been organized acrossStates which are aimed at creating awareness on various welfare schemes for tribals and strengthen outreach and also facilitating in preparation of basic documents like Aadhar Card, Caste certificate, Jan Dhan bank account which are required for availing benefits under different schemes.
