Parliament Question: Routes under RCS-UDAN Scheme

GOVERNMENT OF INDIA MINISTRY OF CIVIL AVIATION LOK SABHA UNSTARRED QUESTION NO. : 3403 ( TO BE ANSWERED ON THE 12th March 2026 ) ROUTES UNDER RCS-UDAN SCHEME 3403. SMT SATABDI ROY Will the Minister of CIVIL AVIATION be pleased to state:- (a) the total number of routes operationalised under the Regional Connectivity Scheme - Ude Desh ka Aam Nagrik (RCS-UDAN) scheme; (b) the total number of routes discontinued before completion of three years of operation; and (c) the number of routes that are presently operational and are operating at fifty per cent capacity or below? ANSWER Minister of State in the Ministry of CIVIL AVIATION (Shri Murlidhar Mohol) (a) to (c): As on 28.02.2026, a total of 663 RCS routes have been operationalised under the Regional Connectivity Scheme-Ude Desh ka Aam Nagrik (RCS-UDAN). Out of these, 123 RCS routes were discontinued before completion of the three-year operational period. At present, 336 RCS routes are operational. ******
