Delkar Kalaben Mohanbhai: Will the Minister of RURAL DEVELOPMENT be pleased to state: (a) the number of roads constructed and the length of roads in kilometers completed under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY) in the Union Territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli during the years 2024 to 2026, if so, the details thereof; (b) whether rural road connectivity has improved in the tribal areas of the Union Territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Panchayati Raj Institutions (PRIs) and Women Self-Help Groups (SHGs) have been involved in road maintenance works; and (c) if so, the details thereof? ANSWER MINISTER OF STATE IN THE MINISTRY OF RURAL DEVELOPMENT (SHRI KAMLESH PASWAN) (a) to (c): As per programme guidelines of Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY), formulation of rural road projects under PMGSY is the responsibility of State Governments/ Union Territory (UT). The rural road projects received from State Governments/ UT are considered by this Ministry for sanction. Under PMGSY, no rural road projects under PMGSY have been sanctioned to the Union Territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli as no proposals were received from the UT. ***** Page 1 of 1
