Will the Minister of RURAL DEVELOPMENT be pleased to state:
(a) whether the Government proposes to relaunch or restructure
the SansadAdarsh Gram Yojana (SAGY) to ensure more
effective implementation, monitoring and institutional support
to public representatives, if so, the details thereof;
(b) whether the Ministry is aware that several border villages in
Kolar district, located along the Karnataka–Andhra Pradesh
boundary, remain underdeveloped due to administrative
neglect and lack of integrated planning; and
(c) whether the Government will consider including backward
border villages under a priority model village framework in the
revamped SAGY scheme, if so the details thereof?

(a): The selection of Gram Panchayats under SAGY by the Hon’ble
MPs across the country completed on 31st March, 2024.
(b) & (c): The MP would be free to identify a suitable Gram
Panchayat for being developed as Adarsh Gram other than his/her
own village or that of his/her spouse. Hon’ble Members of
Parliament had identified 8 Gram Panchayats (GPs) namely Tayalur,
Ramasagara, Avani, Banahalli, Huladenahalli, InoraHosahalli,
Kysamballi and Mallanayakanahalli for development under SAGY in
Kolar district of Karnataka.
