Yojana (PMDDKY) including its emphasis on crop diversification, post-harvest
infrastructure, institutional credit access along with the details of the 36 existing schemes
across 11 Ministries selected for convergence under the Yojana;
(b) the details of funds allocated for Bilaspur district in Himachal Pradesh, with
component wise break-up;
(c) the composition of the District Dhan Dhaanya Samiti (DDDS) along with the details
of guidelines ensuring impartial selection of members including progressive farmers and
women representatives and the role of the District Collector as Chairperson;
(d) whether the DDDS has been constituted in Bilaspur district, if so, the date of
constitution and present members thereof and if not, the proposed timeline therefor; and
(e) the status of implementation of PMDDKY in Bilaspur, the number of farmers
benefited across the 100 identified districts, key challenges and measures taken to address
them for achieving agricultural self-sufficiency?

(a) & (b): The Prime Minister Dhan-Dhaanya Krishi Yojana (DDKY) aims to enhance
agricultural productivity, increase adoption of crop diversification and sustainable
agricultural practices, augment post-harvest storage at the panchayat and block levels,
improve irrigation facilities, and facilitate availability of long-term and short-term credit.
The Scheme is being implemented through convergence of 36 existing schemes
across 11 Departments, other State schemes and local partnerships with the private sector.The list of these schemes is given at Annexure-I. Funds will be earmarked as per the
concerned scheme under convergence and no separate budget provision has been made
for DDKY.
