GOVERNMENT OF INDIA MINISTRY OF TRIBAL AFFAIRS LOK SABHA UNSTARRED QUESTION No. 3381 TO BE ANSWERED ON: 12th MARCH, 2026 Schemes for Development of Tribals 3381. Dr. Kirsan Namdeo: Will the Minister of TRIBAL AFFAIRS be pleased to state: (a) the list of all autonomous and non-autonomous organisations functioning under the Ministry of Tribal Affairs; (b) the details of funds disbursed to State Channelising Agencies (SCAs) and the number of direct beneficiaries under schemes such as Skill and Entrepreneurship Development, Term Loans, Adivasi Mahila Sashaktikaran Yojana (AMSY), Adivasi Shiksha Rinn Yojana (ASRY), Micro Credit Scheme (MCS), Tribal Forest Dweller Empowerment Scheme and assistance to TRIFED-panelled Scheduled Tribe artisans during the last five financial years, State-wise including the State of Maharashtra; (c) the details of the number of projects financed by National Scheduled Tribes Finance and Development Corporation that have been considered successful across the country, State- wise including Maharashtra; (d) the number of Eklavya Model Residential Schools and Eklavya Model Day Boarding Schools functioning under the Rashtriya Adivasi Chhatra Shiksha Society; and (e) the number of students enrolled in these schools and the total number of students benefited so far in the country, State-wise including Maharashtra? ANSWER MINISTER OF STATE (TRIBAL AFFAIRS) (SHRI DURGADAS UIKEY) (a): Autonomous organizations under Ministry of Tribal Affairs: i. Tribal Co-Operative Marketing Development Federation of India Limited (TRIFED) ii. National Education Society for Tribal Students (NESTS) Non-autonomous organizations under Ministry of Tribal Affairs: i. National Scheduled Tribes Finance and Development Corporation (NSTFDC) ii. National Commission for Scheduled Tribes (NCST) (b) & (c): The details of the funds disbursed to SCAs by NSTFDC and the number of direct beneficiaries under the schemes of NSTFDC such as Term Loan, Adivasi Mahila Sashaktikaran Yojana (AMSY), Adivasi Shiksha Rrinn Yojana (ASRY) and Micro Credit Scheme for Self HelpGroups (MCS) during the last five financial years, State-wise including Maharashtra is given at Annexure. Some of the success stories of beneficiaries assisted under NSTFDC schemes across the country including the state of Maharashtra are given at (https://nstfdc.tribal.gov.in). (d) & (e): Eklavya Model Day Boarding Schools (EMDBS) have been merged with Eklavya Model Residential Schools (EMRS) w.e.f. 29.04.2022. As on 28.02.2026, 499 EMRSs are functioning across the country, including 37 EMRSs in the State of Maharashtra. State-wise enrolment in EMRSs, including Maharashtra is as under: Sl.
