SHRI KAUSHALENDRA KUMAR: Will the Minister of HOUSING AND URBAN AFFAIRS be pleased to state: (a) the current status of implementation of the Smart Cities Mission (SCM) in Bihar; (b) the amount of funds released by the Government so far for the four selected cities of Bihar namely Patna, Muzaffarpur, Bhagalpur and Bihar Sharif along with the expenditure made in this regard, city-wise; and (c) whether the Government has decided not to continue the said Mission any further and if so, the details thereof? ANSWER THE MINISTER OF STATE IN THE MINISTRY OF HOUSING AND URBAN AFFAIRS (SHRI TOKHAN SAHU) (a) and (b) Under Smart Cities Mission (SCM), 4 cities, viz. Bhagalpur, Bihar Sharif, Patna, and Muzaffarpur were selected in the State of Bihar.
