SHRI VISHNU DATT SHARMA: Will the Minister of MICRO, SMALL AND MEDIUM ENTERPRISES be pleased to state: (a) whether the Government is implementing the Scheme of Fund for Regeneration of Traditional Industries (SFURTI) to develop clusters of traditional industries and artisans across the country including in the State of Madhya Pradesh; (b) if so, whether any clusters have been sanctioned or are operational in Katni, Panna or Khajuraho in the Khajuraho Lok Sabha Constituency; (c) if so, the details thereof and the nature of traditional industries supported under the scheme in these areas; and (d) if not, the reasons therefor and whether any proposals are under consideration for these districts and if so, the details thereof? ANSWER MINISTER OF STATE FOR MICRO, SMALL AND MEDIUM ENTERPRISES (SUSHRI SHOBHA KARANDLAJE) (a): Scheme of Fund for Regeneration of Traditional Industries (SFURTI) was in continuation till 30.09.2022. Under the SFURTI, as on date, 513 clusters have been approved with a total committed Government of India assistance of Rs. 1,334 crores benefitting around 3.00 lakh artisans. Out of these clusters, 376 have become functional. In the State of Madhya Pradesh, 45 clusters have been approved with a total financial assistance Rs 116.32 Crore. Out of these clusters, 36 have become functional. (b) to (d): The Embroidered Fashion Clothing and Accessories Cluster in Katni, sanctioned on 14.01.2022 with a total Government of India Assistance of Rs. 2.45 crore, is functional.
