Will the Minister of NEW AND RENEWABLE ENERGY be pleased to state:
(a) the details of the number of Solar Parks set up under the Development of Solar Parks and
Ultra Mega Power Projects in the country, State-wise including Punjab;
(b) the details of funds allocated and utilised by the different States under the said scheme
since its inception;
(c) whether the Union Government has received any application/financial assistance proposal
for the development of a solar park from the State Government of Punjab under this scheme
during the last five years and if so, the details thereof; and
(d) the reasons behind the delay in the implementation of the said proposal, if any in Punjab?

(a) Under the scheme for “Development of Solar Parks and Ultra-Mega Solar Power
Projects,” 18 nos. of Solar Parks have been developed, so far, which are given at Annexure-I.
(b) The details of funds released to various States under the scheme are placed at Annexure-II.
(c) & (d) No proposal has been received from the Government of Punjab for the development
of Solar Park under the scheme in the last 5 years.
