* The Ministry conducts regular meetings with states to accelerate scheme implementation.
Impact Analysis:
States (Including Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Maharashtra):
* Impact: States are responsible for the implementation of the PM KUSUM scheme and for reporting progress on solar pump installations, diesel savings, and CO2 emission reductions.
* Action Required: Continue implementing the PM KUSUM scheme, report progress to the MNRE, participate in meetings to address implementation delays, and conduct outreach activities to promote the scheme.
Farmers/Beneficiaries:
* Impact: Beneficiaries receive subsidized solar pumps for irrigation, reducing their reliance on diesel and lowering carbon emissions.
* Action Required: Apply for solar pumps under the PM KUSUM scheme and adhere to the scheme guidelines.
Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE):
* Impact: MNRE is responsible for overseeing the implementation of the PM KUSUM scheme and for monitoring its progress and impact.
* Action Required: Continue to conduct outreach activities, monitor scheme progress, and hold regular meetings with states to address implementation delays.
State Implementation Agencies (SIAs):
* Impact: SIAs are responsible for the on-the-ground implementation of the PM KUSUM scheme in their respective states.
* Action Required: Facilitate the application and installation process for solar pumps, report progress to the MNRE, and participate in meetings to address implementation delays.
