SHRI PUSHPENDRA SAROJ Will the Minister of NEW AND RENEWABLE ENERGY be pleased to state: (a) the details of Solar PV power projects by Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) currently in operation across various States particularly in Uttar Pradesh along with their energy capacities; (b) the quantity and value of Solar-PV modules currently being manufactured in the country and currently being imported from major countries; (c) the list of companies that have been approved with a letter of award for setting up manufacturing facilities under the Production Linked Incentive (PLI) scheme for Solar-PV along with the locations of their manufacturing units, State-wise; (d) whether the Government has any estimate of the direct and indirect employment created and expected from PLI-supported Solar-PV manufacturing units and SECI’s energy project units; and (e) if so, the details thereof, State-wise ANSWER THE MINISTER OF STATE FOR NEW & RENEWABLE ENERGY AND POWER (SHRI SHRIPAD YESSO NAIK) (a) As per the information provided by the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI), the details of Solar PV power projects by SECI currently in operation across various States along with their capacities are given at Annexure-I. (b) The installed solar PV module manufacturing capacity in the country, as per the Approved List of Models and Manufacturers (ALMM), issued on 25.11.2025 is 121.68 GW.The quantity and value of solar PV modules imported in the country during FY 2025-26 (till September, 2025), as per the website pertaining to export-import data bank of Department of Commerce, are 180.58 lakh numbers and 386.33 million US Dollar respectively. (c) The manufacturers who have been issued letter of award under Production Linked Incentive (PLI) Scheme for High Efficiency Solar PV Modules, can set-up their manufacturing plants anywhere in India. Based on the information provided by the manufacturers selected under the scheme, list of the companies along with States in respect of their solar PV manufacturing plants, are mentioned at Annexure-II. (d)&(e) As per the information provided by the solar manufacturers setting up manufacturing units under the PLI Scheme for High Efficiency Solar PV Modules, as on 31.10.2025, the details of direct and indirect employment created are given at part-A of Annexure-III.
