Will the Minister of RURAL DEVELOPMENT be pleased to state:
(a) the details of the clusters sanctioned and developed under the
Shyama Prasad MukherjiRurban Mission (SPMRM) since its
inception, State-wise including Telangana;
(b) the total investment made for these clusters, including Central
and State contributions in Telangana since the inception of the
scheme; and
(c) whether any specific criteria were used to select clusters for
development under SPMRM and if so, the details thereof?

(a): A total of 297 clusters were approved under Shyama Prasad
MukherjiRurban Mission(SPMRM) since the inception (details at
Annexure-I).
(b): The total fund released to the state of Telangana under the
Shyama Prasad MukherjiRurbanMission(SPMRM) Scheme amount to
352.895cr, comprising a Central Share of 234.609 cr and a state
share 118.286cr since the inception. March 31, 2022, has been
declared the sunset date for the Shyama Prasad MukherjiRurban
Mission (SPMRM). Consequent to this, no funds were allotted to any
States/UTs under scheme after 31st March 2023.
(c): The Rurban clusters in all the States and UTs have been
selected in accordance with the SPMRM framework of
Implementation (Details in Annexure-II)
