(a) the present status of the proposed Green Steel Mission, including the timelines for
its approval and rollout, the components finalised under the Mission, and the estimated
expenditure earmarked for each component;
(b) the progress made in operationalising the Production Linked Incentive (PLI)
Scheme for green steel, including the criteria proposed for incentives and the targeted
annual green steel production capacity;
(c) whether the Government has prescribed any procurement targets, monitoring
framework or compliance mechanisms to implement mandatory procurement of green
steel by Government agencies; and
(d) if so, the details thereof?
