SHRI RAJU BISTA Will the Minister of AGRICULTURE AND FARMERS WELFARE कृिष एव ं िकसान क(cid:208)याण म(cid:253)ं ी be pleased to state: (a) the total land brought under organic cultivation in West Bengal, district –wise under Paramparagat Krishi Vikas Yojana (PKVY) up to FY 2025-26; (b) the details of central funds allocated , released and utilized under PKVY in West Bengal during the last three years; and (c) the specific field activities taken up under the Paramparagat Krishi Vikas Yojana (PKVY)? ANSWER MINISTER OF STATE FOR AGRICULTURE AND FARMERS WELFARE कृिष एवं िकसान क(cid:208)याण रा(cid:186)य मं(cid:253)ी (SHRI RAMNATH THAKUR) (a) 45795.43 ha land has been brought under organic cultivation in West Bengal under Paramparagat Krishi Vikas Yojana (PKVY) up to FY 2025-26. The district wise data under PKVY is not maintained centrally. (b) The details of central funds allocated, released and utilized under PKVY in West Bengal during the last three years is as follow: Rs. in Lakh Allocation Release Expenditure Year 2001.00 1717.00 1082.80 2023-24 1495.80 1120.75 908.00 2024-25 766.00 689.00 537.00 2025-26 4262.80 3526.75 2527.80 Grand Total (c) Paramparagat Krishi Vikas Yojana (PKVY) scheme stresses on end-to-end support to farmers engaged in organic farming i.e. from production to processing, certification and marketing. Primary focus of the scheme is to form organic clusters, with preference to small and marginal farmers, to create a supply chain. Under PKVY, assistance of Rs. 31,500 per ha is provided over 3 years for promotion of organic farming. Out of this, assistance of Rs. 15,000 per ha is provided to farmers through Direct Benefit Transfer for on- farm /off –farm organic inputs including organic compost. Financial assistance of Rs. 4,500/ha is provided over 3 years for marketing, packaging, branding, value addition etc. Rs. 3,000/ha for 3 years is provided for certification. Assistance is also provided @Rs. 9,000/ha in 3 years for training, awareness & capacity building. ***
