SHRI RAMBHUAL NISHAD: Will the Minister of SKILL DEVELOPMENT AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP be pleased to state: (a) the present status of the Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY) in Uttar Pradesh, along with the number of training centers opened, the details of the courses being conducted, and the training partners engaged under the scheme; (b) the distribution of these training centers in Uttar Pradesh, particularly in Sultanpur district, district-wise; (c) the details of the funds allocated, released, and utilized for PMKVY in Uttar Pradesh, along with the number of beneficiaries imparted training during the last three years and the current year, year-wise; (d) whether the Government has forged any partnerships with industries, trade organizations or private companies in Uttar Pradesh to promote the recruitment of youth trained under PMKVY; and (e) if so, the details of the steps taken to establish such industry linkages and if not, the reasons therefor? ANSWER THE MINISTER OF STATE (INDEPENDENT CHARGE) IN THE MINISTRY OF SKILL DEVELOPMENT AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP (SHRI JAYANT CHAUDHARY) (a) The current version of the Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY) i.e. PMKVY 4.0 is a demand driven Scheme and training centres under this scheme are affiliated and accredited based on the skill requirement of the particular district.Under PMKVY 4.0, 2,664 Training Centers have provided project-based skill training in Uttar Pradesh, of which 63 Training Centers have ongoing trainings as on 30 June 2026. Further, a total of 5,74,931 and 4,12,151 candidates have been trained and certified respectively in Uttar Pradesh. The job-role-wise details of courses and the Training Partner-wise details are given at Annexure-I and Annexure-II, respectively. Since the details in aforesaid Annexure-II are too lengthy, it is uploaded on Ministry’s website at https://www.msde.gov.in/documents?page=1. (b) The district-wise distribution of Training Centers under PMKVY 4.0 in Uttar Pradesh is given at Annexure-III. Since the details in aforesaid Annexure-III are too lengthy, it is uploaded on Ministry’s website at https://www.msde.gov.in/documents?page=1. Under PMKVY 4.0, 2,664 Training Centers have provided project-based skill training in Uttar Pradesh including 19 Training Centers in Sultanpur district. Out of 63 Training Centers with ongoing training across Uttar Pradesh as on 30 June 2026, no training is ongoing in Sultanpur district under PMKVY 4.0. (c) PMKVY4.0 is a demand driven scheme and there is no provision of fund allocation in the scheme to the states/UT. (d) and (e) Presently, six Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with industry and private-sector entities are active under PMKVY 4.0. These MoUs have been signed at the national level and cover locations across the country, including Uttar Pradesh.
