SHRI KANWAR SINGH TANWAR Will the Minister of NEW AND RENEWABLE ENERGY be pleased to state: (a) whether the Government proposes to support households, industrial and public institutions to adopt renewable energy solutions like solar rooftops, biogas plants and small wind turbines in Amroha district of Uttar Pradesh; (b) if so, the details of equipment installed, number of beneficiaries and outcomes achieved in the said district; and (c) if not, the reasons therefor? ANSWER THE MINISTER OF STATE FOR NEW & RENEWABLE ENERGY AND POWER (SHRI SHRIPAD YESSO NAIK) (a) to (c) Ministry of New and Renewable Energy is implementing PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana (PMSG: MBY) and National Bioenergy Programme in all districts of the country. With regard to installation of small wind turbines, at present, there is no scheme for providing financial subsidy/ incentive.
