MR PATHAN YUSUF: Will the Minister of MICRO, SMALL AND MEDIUM ENTERPRISES be pleased to state: (a) whether any financial or technical support has been extended to MSMEs involved in bat manufacturing to establish their own willow plantations and if so, the details thereof, and (b) whether the Government is considering incentivising local farmers to grow willow trees by offering subsidies or assured procurement and if so, the details thereof ? ANSWER MINISTER OF STATE FOR MICRO, SMALL AND MEDIUM ENTERPRISES (SUSHRI SHOBHA KARANDLAJE) (a) and (b): Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises doesn't have any specific, scheme solely for MSMEs involved in bat manufacturing to establish their own willow plantations.
