## INSPIRE-MANAK Scheme Support in Uttar Pradesh: Policy Summary
This document summarizes the support provided under the INSPIRE-MANAK scheme in Uttar Pradesh, as of July 30, 2025. Since 2022, the scheme has supported a total of 140,316 students, with category-wise distribution as follows: 32,138 from the General category, 71,790 from the OBC category, 23,184 from the SC category, and 13,204 from the ST category.
A total of ₹8,67,50,000 was sanctioned for 8,675 selected students since 2022, amounting to ₹10,000 per student. These funds were allocated for project/model preparation, idea showcasing, and participation in exhibitions at the district, state, and national levels.
Thirty student prototypes from Uttar Pradesh advanced to the national-level exhibition stage. Three students from Uttar Pradesh received national-level recognition, and patent applications have been filed for their innovations.
Between 2022 and 2025, twenty online awareness workshops were conducted in Uttar Pradesh under the scheme. Four of these workshops specifically targeted teachers from SC/ST-dominated areas to encourage greater student participation.
