"Survey of Villages and Mapping with Improvised Technology in Village Areas
(SVAMITVA) scheme Stateanddistrict-wise;
(b) The details of the percentage of families in such areas given property cards under
the SVAMITVAscheme have beenissued bythe Government;
(c) The time limit set by the Government for achieving 100% mapping of land/areas
andregionsunderthe SVAMITVAscheme; and
(d) The detailsof the provisions made bythe Government toaddress the disputes likely

a) In Uttar Pradesh, Drone survey has been saturated in all 90,573 inhabited villages of all
the districts and property cards have been prepared for 68,377 villages. In Bahraich Lok
Sabha Constituency, drone survey has been completed in all 755 villages and property cards
have beenpreparedfor 514villages. District wise detailsisat Annexure-I.

to arise due todiscrepancies indrone survey results underthe SVAMITVAScheme,the states
have takenmeasures such as:
1. The drone survey is preceded by intensive IEC (Information, Education and
Communication) activities to create public awareness and build confidence among
rural landowners.
2. States and UTs undertake Chuna marking for property demarcation to clearly define
propertyboundariesonthe ground.
13. States and UTs have laid down inquiry processes for the settlement of claims and
objections on ground verified maps as per their respective Acts before finalizing
ownership.
