(a) to (c): A number of textile sector schemes including Scheme for Integrated Textile Park (SITP),
Comprehensive PowerloomCluster Development Scheme (CPCDS) and certain sub components of
erstwhile Power Tex scheme have been subsumed under the Textile Cluster Development Scheme
(TCDS). These Schemes, aim to enhance the competitiveness and production capacity of textile hubs &
clusters by providing support for infrastructure development, technology upgrades and skill development
etc.
As part of Textile Cluster Development Scheme (TCDS), the Government is also implementing
Scheme for Integrated Textile Park (SITP) to provide support for setting up textile parks with world-
class, state-of-the-art infrastructure in textile hubs across the country. The scheme was in implementation
upto 31.03.2021, however, as stated above, this Scheme has now been subsumed under the umbrella
Scheme of Textile Cluster Development Scheme (TCDS) for completing ongoing projects only.
Under the said scheme, 50 parks were sanctioned. Out of 50 parks, 30 parks have been completed
and 20 parks are under various stages of implementation. The state-wise details of these parks are at
Annexure.
Under the TCDS, employment opportunity of 1.63 lakh has been created so far and during the
financial year 2024-25, a total amount of ₹44.08 crore was released under various components of TCDS.ANNEXURE
