SHRI G LAKSHMINARAYANA: Will the Minister of TEXTILES वस्त्रमंत्री be pleased to state : (a) the details and number of textile parks established under various Central Government schemes since inception along with their current operational status scheme, State and year- wise; (b) the details of funds sanctioned and released for each textile park, State and year-wise; (c) the details of manufacturing output, exports, employment generated and the number of textile units operating in each park since its operationalisation, park-wise; and (d) whether the Government proposes to launch a new scheme for establishment of small or cluster-based textile parks, particularly to support Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) and traditional textile clusters and if so, the details thereof? उत्तर ANSWER वस्त्रमंत्री (श्रीगिररराज सिंह) MINISTER OF TEXTILES (SHRI GIRIRAJ SINGH) (a) to (d):- A statement is laid on the Table of the House.STATEMENT REFERRED TO IN REPLY TO PART (A) TO (D) OF THE LOK SABHA STARRED QUESTION NO. *39 DUE FOR ANSWER ON 21.07.2026 RAISED BY SHRI G LAKSHMINARAYANA REGARDING TEXTILE PARKS. (a) to (c): To develop integrated large scale and modern industrial infrastructure facility for entire value-chain of the textile industry, the Government has approved setting up of 7 (Seven) PM Mega Integrated Textile Region and Apparel (PM MITRA) Parks in Greenfield/Brownfield sites with scheme outlay of Rs. 4,445 Crore for the period 2021-22 to 2027-28. The Government has finalised 7 sites viz. Tamil Nadu (Virudhnagar), Telangana (Warangal), Gujarat (Navsari), Karnataka (Kalaburagi), Madhya Pradesh (Dhar), Uttar Pradesh (Lucknow) and Maharashtra (Amravati) for setting up PM MITRA Parks. This marks the first time since independence that such Mega Textile Parks have been introduced, each spanning 1,000 acres of unencumbered land. The details of projects under PM MITRA Scheme is as per Annexure A. Also, with a view to increasing investments, generating employment opportunities and boosting exports in the textile sector, the Ministry is implementing Scheme for Integrated Textile Park (SITP) to provide support for setting up textile parks with world-class, state-of- the-art infrastructure in textile hubs across the country. The scheme was in implementation upto 31.03.2021; however, the Scheme has now been subsumed under the umbrella Scheme of Textile Cluster Development Scheme (TCDS) for completing ongoing projects only. Under the scheme, 50 projects have been sanctioned of which 33 projects have successfully been completed. The details of projects under SITP Scheme is as per Annexure B. (d): Considering the textile sector as labour intensive, the Government has announced an Integrated Program in the Union Budget 2026-27, featuring National Fibre Scheme, Textile Expansion and Employment Scheme, National Handloom and Handicraft programme, Tex- Eco Initiative & Samarth 2.0. The Textile Expansion and Employment Scheme plans to modernise traditional clusters with capital support for machinery, technology upgradation and common testing and certification centres. New proposals will be evaluated under scheme after formulation of the scheme guidelines. Further, Government of India approved the Bharat Audyogik Vikas Yojna (BHAVYA), a Central Sector Scheme, with a financial outlay of ₹ 33,660 crores, for a period of 6 years, from financial year 2026-27 to 2031-32 for developing 100 plug-and-play industrial parks across the country. The objective of the Scheme is to develop investment-ready, world-class industrial infrastructure to enable investors to ground investment with ease, thereby adding to the manufacturing capacity in the country.Annexure-A Details of 7 PM MITRA Parks State Park Name Investment Interest Fund released (₹ in Cr.)
