ANSWER
THE MINISTER OF STATE FOR NEW & RENEWABLE ENERGY AND POWER
(SHRI SHRIPAD YESSO NAIK)
(a) to (e) There is no solar park developed in Tamil Nadu under the scheme for “Development
of Solar Parks and Ultra-Mega Solar Power Projects.”
Previously, two solar parks were sanctioned in Tamil Nadu which were subsequently cancelled
due to slow progress with the primary reason being difficulty in land acquisition.
