Underutilisation of AYUSH health and wellness centres in Raigad
1931 # Shri Dhairyashil Mohan Patil:
Will the Minister of Ayush be pleased to state:
(a) the status, service coverage, and number of patients in AYUSH centres operating in
Raigad district under Ayushman Bharat during the year 2024-25;
(b) the details of identified gaps relating to the availability of qualified doctors, medicines,
and diagnostic support;
(c) the extent to which limited infrastructure or delays in supply have affected the delivery of
preventive and promotive health services; and
(d) the details of corrective measures taken and timelines set to ensure the functional
strengthening of AYUSH centers in Raigad?
ANSWER

(SHRI PRATAPRAO JADHAV)
(a). As informed by State Government of Maharashtra, total 06 Ayushman Arogya Mandir
(Ayush) [AAM (Ayush)] are functioning at Sudkoli, Nandgaon, Pabhare, Bagmandala,
Adgaon & Kudgaon in Raigad District and providing holistic healthcare to the community
through different Ayush interventions including OPD care, Prakriti Parikshan, Yoga etc.
Further, as reported by State Government, a total of 30,442 beneficiaries have been benefitted
during the year 2024-25 from these AAM (Ayush).
(b) to (d). Public Health being a State subject, the primary responsibility to identify gaps
related to availability of qualified doctors, medicines and Diagnostic support lies with
respective State Government. However, under Centrally Sponsored Scheme of National
Ayush Mission (NAM), the State Government has been supported for strengthening of
infrastructure and supply of medicine as per the proposals submitted by them in their State
Action Plans (SAAPs).Further, as informed by State Government at present qualified Ayurveda Medical
Officer are posted at AAM (Ayush) and Ayurveda Medicines are available at all centres for
providing Healthcare services to the community. In addition, Diagnostic services are
provided by HLL Mahalab at Primary Health Centres.
