Shri Sanatan Pandey: Will the Minister of TRIBAL AFFAIRS be pleased to state: (a) the details of the Van Dhan Vikas Kendras (VDVKs) established by the Government under the Pradhan Mantri Van Dhan Yojana (PMVDY) during the last three years, State-wise; (b) the amount of funds earmarked for the said scheme in Uttar Pradesh, the proportion of funds spent so far along with the details thereof; and (c) the number of training sessions held in Uttar Pradesh and the number of people benefited from the said sessions? ANSWER MINISTER OF STATE (TRIBAL AFFAIRS) (SHRI DURGADAS UIKEY) (a) Under Pradhan Mantri Janjatiya Vikas Mission (PMJVM) and Pradhan Mantri Janjati Adiwasi Nyaya Maha Abhiyan (PM-JANMAN) schemes, a total of 1,146 Van Dhan Vikas Kendras have been sanctioned with a total allocation of Rs. 11,288.70 lakhs across the country during the last three years (FY 2023-24 to 2025-26). State-wise details of VDVKs is given at Annexure-I. (b) & (c) Under the PMJVM, 25 VDVKs comprising 7,238 beneficiaries have been sanctioned in Uttar Pradesh with an allocation of ₹359.55 lakh, out of which ₹209.55 lakh has been released so far. Further, under the PM-JANMAN, 5 VDVKs comprising 319 beneficiaries have been sanctioned in Uttar Pradesh with an allocation of ₹15.95 lakh, out of which ₹7.97 lakh has been released.
