Will the Minister of ENVIRONMENT, FOREST AND CLIMATE CHANGE be pleased to
state:
(a) whether the Government has notified Veerangna Durgavati Tiger Reserve as Seventh
Tiger Reserve in Damoh Lok Sabha Constituency of Madhya Pradesh in 2023 and if
so, the details and number of entry points proposed and sanctioned for tourists;
(b) if not, the details of the number of entry-points proposed to be made by the
Government for Asia’s largest tiger reserve;
(c) whether the Government is considering to construct entry points for above tiger
reserve near village Khajoora, situated approximately 25-30 kms. away from Damoh
Railway Station; and
(d) if so, the details thereof?
