Will the Minister of RURAL DEVELOPMENT be pleased to state:
(a) the number of beneficiaries selected under Pradhan
MantriAwasYojana-Gramin (PMAY-G) in BahraichLokSabha
Constituency;
(b) the number of wait-listed beneficiaries in the said constituency
under the said scheme and the time by which such
beneficiaries are likely to get the benefit of the said scheme;
(c) whether the Government proposes to make any special
provision for some villages under BahraichLokSabha
Constituency that had been deprived of the benefits under the
PMAY-G scheme earlier for not being on the NIC portal for
some or the other reason; and
(d) if so, the details thereof?

(a): In order to achieve the objective of “Housing for All” in rural
areas, the Ministry of Rural Development is implementing Pradhan
MantriAwaasYojana- Gramin (PMAY-G) with effect from 1st April
2016 to provide assistance to eligible rural households with basic
amenities. A total target of 2.95 crore houses have already been
allotted to States/UTs by March 2024 which was the set timeline
approved by the Cabinet. To address the arising housing needs in
rural areas, the Union Cabinet in its meeting dated 09.08.2024
approved 2 crore additional houses under PMAY-G to be constructed
during FY 2024-25 to 2028-29. As on 17.07.2025, out of the
cumulative target of 4.95 crore houses, 4.12 crore houses have

been sanctioned and more than 2.80 crore houses have been
completed.
The Ministry allocates targets to the State and further
allocation of targets to the Districts/ Blocks/ Gram Panchayats is
done by the State Government. The progress of the scheme in
BahraichLokSabha constituency Uttar Pradesh is as under :

(b): The existing SECC 2011 based PWL and Awaas + 2018 list for
the State of Uttar Pradesh (including BahraichLokSabha
constituency) has been saturated.
The Government of India has also approved the conduct of
exercise for updating the Awaas + 2018 list for identifying eligible
rural households using modified exclusion criteria.
The Awaas+ 2024 household survey for identification of
potentially eligible households using the Awaas+ 2024 mobile
application for inclusion in beneficiary database for the PMAY-G (FY
2024-25 to 2028-29) had started on 27.12.2024 with initial deadline
of 31st March, 2025. The deadline for completion of the survey
process was extended twice till 30th April, 2025 and till 15th May,
2025 for all States/UTs. Considering the requests made by the
States with justifications, the timeline has been extended beyond
15th May 2025 for some States/UTs. The Awaas + 2024 window for
capturing the details of households is closed as on date. The
States/UTs are conducting corroboration of self survey cases and
verification of survey cases captured through Awaas + 2024 Mobile
Application. The deadline for completion of corroboration of self
survey cases and verification of survey cases is 31.07.2025.
(c) & (d): The technical issue has already been resolved and in
Awaas+ 2024 household survey, the data of all GPs has been
displayed and survey work has been done in the all the GPs.
