Will the Minister of Chemicals and Fertilizers be pleased to state:

(a) whether the rake point remained non-operational for fertilizer handling at Warangal in the State of Telangana for Rabi Season 2025-26, if so, the details thereof and the reasons therefor;

(b) whether it is true that the said rake point caters to the fertilizer requirements of six districts of the erstwhile Warangal region, accounting for approximately twelve per cent of the Rabi cropped area of the said State, if so, the details thereof, district-wise;

(c) whether it is a fact that although Chintalpally in the said State has been notified as the new rake point and an iFMS code has been created, operations have not yet commenced, if so, the reasons therefor;

(d) whether alternative arrangements are insufficient to meet this scale of demand immediately, if so, the details thereof; and

(e) whether the State Government of Telangana requested Union Government to permit fertilizer operations at the said district rake point, to avoid any inconvenience to the farmers, if so, the details thereof? (a) to (e) As per the information received from Ministry of Railways, Warangal Goods shed (WL) has been kept under restriction for handling bagged consignment from27.10.2025, due to safety reasons. However, Chintalapally (CLE) goods shed at

12.3 km from Warangal has been notified for handling bagged consignment and operational since 10-09-2025. A total of 83 rakes of fertilizers during the FY 2025- 26 and 74 fertilizer rakes during the FY 2026-27 (upto July 2026) have been handled here. Further, alternate arrangements made at Chintalapally (CLE) Goods Shed are sufficient enough to handle the inward traffic of Warangal (WL). Due to availability of full length line at Chintalapally, the unloading time has been reduced by avoiding split placement. Being away from busy city area, it is avoiding pollution and road congestion in Warangal. Hence, more number of rakes can be dealt at Chintalapally.

Besides, State Government of Telangana has informed that fertilizer operations have commenced through Chintalpally with effect from November-2025.

Further, State Government of Telangana has informed that the Warangal Rake Point used to cater to the requirement of erstwhile Warangal District. The details are
