(a) the details of number of Youth trained under Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana
(PM- KVY) in Karauli and Dholpur districts of Rajasthan since 2023 to till date, gender, age,
category and year-wise;
(b) the details of number of youth employed after completion of their training;
(c) the details of the number of skill development centres, their capacity, availability of
trainers and placement rate in both the districts;
(d) whether the Government proposes to implement any special industry-based skill
module for these districts in view of low placement rate; and
(e) if so, the details thereof?

(a) Under PMKVY 4.0, the latest version of the scheme under implementation since FY 22-
23, the details of number of Youth trained in Karauli and Dholpur districts of Rajasthan since
FY 2023-24 till 31.10.2025 is at Annexure-A.
(b) Placements were tracked in the Short-Term Training (STT) component of the first three
versions of the PMKVY Scheme i.e. PMKVY 1.0, PMKVY 2.0 and PMKVY 3.0 implemented
from FY 2015-16 to FY 2021-22. Under PMKVY 4.0 which is under implementation since
2022-23, the focus is to empower our trained candidates to choose their varied career path
and they are suitably oriented for the same through On-job Training (OJT) embedded industry
relevant skill courses.
(c) Under PMKVY 4.0, 42 training centres(TCs) have been empanelled in Dholpur District
and 29 TCs in Karauli Districts till 31.10.2025. Training has been imparted through 289 trainers
in these districts. The batch size of training conducted under PMKVY 4.0 ranges from 10-45.
(d) & (e) Under PMKVY 4.0, the Government has undertaken several measures to ensure
that training programmes are aligned with local industry requirements. PMKVY 4.0 offers
National Skill Qualification Framework aligned courses which are approved by National
Council of Vocational Education and Training, in consultation with industries and line
Ministries. Also States are encouraged to propose training targets based on local demand,
which is identified through district-level skill gap studies to ensure relevance and effectiveness.
Further, the scheme actively engages private sector partners such as industry associations,
Awarding Bodies, and corporate entities for curriculum development, industry-aligned training,
assessments and placement support, thereby strengthening the linkage between skilling and
