PART I-B CENTRAL SECTION Government Notifications Published Under Land Acquisition Act Only REVENUE DEPARTMENT NOTIFICATION Sachivalaya, Gandhinagar, 8th May, 2026 (The Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013) (30 of 2013) Dist: Bharuch No:- AM-M-2026-432-LBR-172025-1206-GH:- Whereas it appears to the Government of Gujarat that the land specified in the SCHEDULE annexed hereto, is likely to be required to “Flood Protection Embankment on Right bank of Narmada River for Bhadbhut Barrage and approach road works across river Narmada" (here in after referred to as "The Requiring Body”) for the public purpose for the purpose of construction of infrastructure project of “Flood Protection Embankment on Right bank of Narmada River for Bhadbhut Barrage and approach road works across river Narmada" (here in after referred to as “The public purpose Project") 1. Now whereas, the Government of Gujarat, Revenue Department has, in exercise of the powers conferred, by section-10(A) (inserted by section 3 of The Right to Fair compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement (Gujarat Amendment) Act, 2016 (Gujarat Act No. 12 of 2016) of The Right to Fair compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 (30 of 2013) (hereinafter referred to as "The Act”) exempted, in public interest, by Notification No:AM-M-2025-478-LBR- 172025-1206-GH Date:-22/07/2025 published in the extra- ordinary Gazette of Gujarat Government the Below mentioned Scheduled area of land, to be acquired for the infrastructure project of “Flood Protection Embankment on Right bank of Narmada River for Bhadbhut Barrage and approach road works across river Narmada", form the application of the provisions of chapter II and III of The Act, and I-B Ex.-480 480-1480-2 GUJARAT GOVERNMENT GAZETTE, EX., 08-05-2026 [ PART I-B 2. Now whereas, in exercise of the powers, conferred by sub-section (1) of section-43 of The Act, The Government of Gujarat has appointed, by Notification No.AM-M-2025-732-LBR-172025-1026-GH Date:-07/10/2025 Collector, Bharuch as the Administrator of Rehabilitation and Resettlement in respect of the scheduled land to be acquired for construction of the captioned infrastructure project, and 3. Now Whereas, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub- section (1) of section 11 of "The Right to Fair compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 (30 of 2013) (hereinafter referred to as The Act), the Government of Gujarat, has notified, vide their Notification No.AM-M- 2025-732-LBR-172025-1026-GH Date:-07/10/2025 that the said Scheduled land is required for the public purpose specified here above, 4. And Whereas, the Government of Gujarat is satisfied after considering the report made by The District Collector, Bharuch under sub-section (2) of section 15 of the Act, that the said land is needed to be acquired for " The public purpose project " specified in the scheduled hereto, and 5. Now therefore, in exercise of the power conferred by sub-section (1) of section 19 The Act, the Government of Gujarat hereby declares that the said scheduled lands are required for the public purpose specified in the schedule hereto. 6. In exercise of the power conferred by clauses (g) of section-3 of The Act, the Government of Gujarat hereby appoints, Collector, Bharuch for all proceeding hereinafter to be carried out under The Act, in respect of the said scheduled lands. 7.
