(१) दिनांयमं ३ दिकां�ा ४ मंध्ये नांमंूदा काेलेल्या पोदाां�र पोदाोन्नांताीनांे दिनांयुक्ता कारा�याचाी व्यक्ताी, उक्ता पोदाा�र पोदाोन्नांताी दाेण्यापोू�ी अगोदारचा मंराठाी � दिहुंदाी भाा�ा उत्ती�ग नांसंेल दिकां�ा त्या पोरीक्षा उत्ती�ग हुोण्यापोासंूनां दिताला संूट दाेण्याता आलेली नांसंेल तार, ताी, त्याबाबताीता शासंनांानांे �ेळोो�ेळोी काेलेल्या दिनांयमंानांुसंार, दिहुंदाी � मंराठाी भाा�ा पोरीक्षा उत्ती�ग कारेल. (२) दिनांयमं ४ मंध्ये नांमंूदा काेलेल्या पोदाा�र नांामंदिनांदाेशनांाद्वाारे दिनांयुक्ता काेलेली व्यक्ताी, अगोदारचा मंराठाी � दिहुंदाी भाा�ा पोरीक्षा उत्ती�ग नांसंले दिकां�ा त्या पोरीक्षा उत्ती�ग हुोण्यापोासंूनां दिताला संटू दाण्े याता आलेली नांसंले तार, ताी, त्याबाबताीता शासंनांानां े�ळोे ो�ेळोी काेलल्े या दिनांयमंांनांुसंार, दिनांयुक्ताीनांंतार दि�दिहुता काालमंयागदाेता मंराठाी � दिहुंदाी भाा�ा पोरीक्षा उत्ती�ग कारील. ताी व्यक्ताी, या पोरीक्षा उत्ती�ग हुोईपोय�ता, �ादि�गका �ेतानां�ाढीसंाठाी दिकां�ा पोुढील पोदाोन्नांताीच्या पोदाां�रील पोदाोन्नांताीसंाठाी पोात्रा असं�ार नांाहुी. १०. (१) दिनांयमं ३ दिकां�ा ४ मंध्य े नांमंूदा काेलल्े या पोदाा�र पोदाोन्नांताीनां ेदिनांयक्ु ता कारा�याचाी व्यक्ताी, उक्ता पोदाा�र पोदाोन्नांताी दाण्े यापोू�ी, दिताला संगं �का हुातााळो�ी प्रमंा�पोत्रा धाार� कारण्यापोासंूनां संटू दाण्े याता आली नांसंले तार, ताी त्याबाबताीता शासंनांानां े�ळोे ो�ेळोी काेलल्े या दिनांयमंानांुसंार दि�दिहुता काेलेले संंग�का हुातााळो�ी प्रमंा�पोत्रा धाार� कारील. (२) दिनांयमं ४ मंध्ये नांमंूदा काेलेल्या पोदाा�र नांामंदिनांदाेशनांाद्वाारे दिनांयुक्ता काेलेल्या व्यक्ताीनांे, दिताला संंग�का हुातााळो�ी प्रमंा�पोत्रा धाार� कारण्यापोासंूनां संटू दाण्े याता आली नांसंले तार, ताी याबाबताीता शासंनांानां े�ळोे ो�ेळोी दि�दिहुता काेलेल ेअसं ेसंगं �का हुातााळो�ी प्रमंा�पोत्रा, दिनांयुक्ताीनांंतार दि�दिहुता काालमंयागदाेता धाार� कारील. अशी व्यक्ताी, असंे प्रमंा�पोत्रा धाार� कारीपोय�ता, �ादि�गका �ेतानां�ाढीसंाठाी दिकां�ा पोुढील पोदाोन्नांताीच्या पोदाा�रील पोदाोन्नांताीसंाठाी पोात्रा असं�ार नांाहुी. ११. (१) दिनांयमं ४ मंध्य ेनांमंूदा काेलल्े या पोदाा�र नांामंदिनांदाशे नांाद्वाार े दिनांयक्ु ता काेलेली व्यक्ताी, मंहुाराष्ट्रा नांागरी संे�ा (लहुानां काुटबंं ाचाे प्रदिताज्ञाापोनां) दिनांयमं, २००५ याच्या तारताुदांनांुसंार दिकां�ा याबाबता, शासंनांानांे, �ेळोो�ेळोी काेलेले अन्य काो�ताेहुी दिनांयमं, कााढलेले आदाेश दिकां�ा काो�ताेहुी संंलेख यांनांुसंार लहुानां काुटंंबाचाे प्रदिताज्ञाापोनां संादार कारील, अन्यथाा उक्ता पोदाा�र दिनांयुक्ताीसंाठाी पोात्रा असं�ार नांाहुी. (२) लहुानां काुटंंबाचाे प्रदिताज्ञाापोनां संादार कारण्याच्या दिदानांांकाासं, दाोनांपोेक्षा अदिधाका अपोत्ये असं�ारी व्यक्ताी, शासंकाीय संे�ेताील दिनांयुक्ताीसंाठाी अपोात्रा असंेल. (३) एखाद्या व्यक्ताीचाी शासंकाीय संे�ेता दिनांयुक्ताी झााल्यानांंतार, जर दिताला, दिनांयुक्ताीच्या �ेळोी दिकां�ा त्यानांंतार दाोनांपोेक्षा अदिधाका अपोत्ये असंल्याचाे दिसंद्ध झााले तार, ताी व्यक्ताी, शासंकाीय संे�ेताील उक्ता पोदाा�र काायमं राहुण्यासं अपोात्रा असंेल. १२. दिनांयमं ३ � ४ मंध्ये नांमंूदा काेलेल्या पोदाांसंाठाी दिनांयुक्ता काेलेल्या व्यक्तांचाी जेष्ठाताा यादाी राज्यस्तारा�र ठाे�ण्याता येईल. म्हु�ूनां उक्ता पोदाा�र दिनांयुक्ता काेलेली व्यक्ताी मंहुाराष्ट्रा राज्याता काोठाेहुी बदालीसंाठाी पोात्रा असंेल. भााग चाार-अ-५१५–१अ4 महाारााष्ट्र शाासन रााजपत्र असाधााराण भााग चाारा-अ, नोव्हांबरा २४, २०२५/अग्रहाायण ३, शाके १९४७ १३. शासंनांानांे, �ेळोो�ेळोी काेलेले काो�ताेहुी दिनांयमं दिकां�ा घोेतालेले दिनां�गय यांमंध्ये, काो�त्याहुी शासंकाीय कामंगचााऱ्याच्या दिनांयुक्ताीआधाी दिकां�ा नांंतार, शासंनांानांे दि�दिनांदिदागष्ट काेलेल्या अटी � शताी दाेखील अशा शासंकाीय कामंगचााऱ्यासं लागू असंताील. मंहुाराष्ट्रााचाे राज्यपोाल यांच्या आदाेशानांुसंार � नांा�ानांे, व्यंकटीेशा भाटी, शासंनांाचाे संहुसंदिचा�.महाारााष्ट्र शाासन रााजपत्र असाधााराण भााग चाारा-अ, नोव्हांबरा २४, २०२५/अग्रहाायण ३, शाके १९४७ 5 HOME DEPARTMENT Mantralaya, Madam Cama Marg, Hutatma Rajguru Chowk, Mumbai 400 032, dated 24th November 2025. NOTIFICATION Constitution of india. No. H.D.-1105/1/2024-POL1A.— In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the Constitution of India and in supersession of all existing rules, notifications, orders or instruments issued in this behalf, the Governor of Maharashtra is hereby pleased to make the following rules regulating recruitment to the posts of Armourer Superintendent of Police, Group A and Armourer Deputy Superintendent of Police, Group A, on the establishment of the State Reserve Police Force under the administrative control of the Home Department of Government of Maharashtra, as follows:- 1. Short Title and Commencement.- (1) These rules may be called the Armourer Superintendent of Police and Armourer Deputy Superintendent of Police, Group A (Recruitment) Rules, 2025. (2) These rules shall come into force on the date of publication of these rules in the Maharashtra Government Gazette. 2. Definitions.- In these rules, unless the context requires otherwise,- (1) “Appointing Authority” means the Chief Minister of State Government in relation to the post of Armourer Superintendent of Police, Group A and the Minister for Home in relation to the post of Armourer Deputy Superintendent of Police, Group A; (2) “Armourer Superintendent of Police” means the post of the Armourer Superintendent of Police in the Arms Inspection Branch on the establishment of the State Reserve Police Force; (3) “Armourer Deputy Superintendent of Police” means the post of the Armourer Deputy Superintendent of Police in the Arms Inspection Branch on the establishment of the State Reserve Police Force; (4) “Commission” means the Maharashtra Public Service Commission; (5) “Degree” means a degree in Mechanical Engineering of a statutory university or any other qualification declared by the Government to be equivalent thereto; (6) “Eligibility for promotion” means the eligibility for promotion in accordance with terms and conditions specified for promotion in the rules, resolutions or orders issued by the General Administration Department, from time to time; (7) “Government” means the Government of Maharashtra; (8) “Senior Scale” means the Senior Scale specified in sub-rule (1) of rule 3 of the Indian Police Service (Pay) Rules, 2016. 3. Appointment to the post of Armourer Superintendent of Police, Group A, shall be made by promotion of suitable person on the basis of seniority having eligibility for promotion from amongst the persons holding the post of Armourer Deputy Superintendent of Police, Group A, in the Arms Inspection Branch on the establishment of the State Reserve Police Force and having a regular and continuous service of not less than five years on the said post:6 महाारााष्ट्र शाासन रााजपत्र असाधााराण भााग चाारा-अ, नोव्हांबरा २४, २०२५/अग्रहाायण ३, शाके १९४७ Provided that, if a suitable person is not available by promotion then a suitable person in the Senior Scale from the Indian Police Service or from the Superintendent of Police or Deputy Commissioner of Police cadre of the State Police Service may be appointed by transfer on the said post. 4. Appointment to the post of Armourer Deputy Superintendent of Police, Group A, shall be made by,- (a) promotion of a suitable person on the basis of seniority having eligibility for promotion from amongst the persons holding the post of Armourer Police Inspector, Group A, in the Arms Inspection Branch on the establishment of the State Reserve Police Force having a regular and continuous service of not less than three years in the said post; or (b) nomination from amongst the candidates recommended by the Commission on the basis of the result of the competitive examination conducted by the Commission, who fulfils the following criteria, namely:— (i) Age limit.— (A) Lower Age limit.- Eighteen years of age should be completed as on the last date of receipt of application as per advertisement for recruitment to the said post. (B) Upper Age limit.- Thirty-eight years of age completed for the persons not belonging to a reserved category and fourty-three years of age completed for the persons belonging to reserved category as on the last date of receipt of application as per advertisement for recruitment to the said post. (ii) Minimum Educational Qualification.- Possesses a degree in the Mechanical Engineering of a statutory university or any other qualification declared by the Government to be equivalent thereto. (iii) Physical Eligibility.— (A) Physical standards for male.- (I) Minimum height (in centimetres) 165 centimetres (barefooted); (II) Chest girth shall not be less than 79 centimetres deflated and the difference between deflated chest and expanded chest shall not be less than 5 centimetres. (B) Physical Standards for Female.- Minimum height (in centimetres) 157 centimetres (barefooted). (C) Vision.- Good vision with or without correction and shall not be colour blind. (iv) Technical Qualification.- Possess the Certificate of Diploma in Small Arms Engineering from a Training Institute of the Government of India or Government of Maharashtra or Government of any other State. 5. Appointment to the post mentioned in rule 4 by promotion and nomination shall be made in the ratio of 50:50, respectively, for the total number of sanctioned posts to be filled under rule 4. 6. A person appointed to the post mentioned in rule 4 by nomination, shall be required to pass the prescribed Departmental Examination for the post within the prescribed limit. If such person fails to pass the said prescribed Departmental Examination for the post within the prescribed limit then he shall not be confirmed on the said post or considered for the promotion to the higher post until he passes said examination or has been exempted from passing the said examination. 8. A person appointed to the post mentioned in rule 4 by nomination and undergoing training under the Combined Probationary Training Programme (CPTP), service matters pertaining to seniority, Departmental examination and other service matters shall be regulated by rules and regulations by the General Administration Department, from time to time. However, if a person fails to complete the said training programme (CPTP) satisfactorily, within the prescribed period, his services shall be liable to be terminated. 9. (1) A person appointed to the posts mentioned in rule 3 or 4 by promotion shall pass the Marathi and Hindi Languages examinations as per the rules made in that behalf by the Government, from time to time, unless he has already passed or has been exempted from passing those examinations before getting promoted to the next promotional post. (2) A person appointed to the posts mentioned in rule 4 by nomination shall pass the Marathi and Hindi Languages examinations as per the rules made in that behalf by the Government, from time to time, within prescribed time limit after appointment unless he has already passed or has been exempted from passing those examinations. He shall not be eligible for annual increment or for the promotion to the next promotional post, until he passes those examinations. 10. (1) A person appointed to the posts mentioned in rule 3 or 4 by promotion shall possess a certificate of Computer Operations prescribed by the Government, from time to time, unless he has been exempted therefrom before getting promoted to the next promotional post. (2) A person appointed to the posts mentioned in rule 4 by nomination shall possess a certificate of Computer Operations prescribed by the Government, from time to time, within prescribed time limit after appointment, unless he has been exempted from possessing such certificate of Computer Operations, otherwise he shall not be eligible for annual increment or for the promotion to the next promotional post, until he possesses such certificate. 11. (1) A person appointed to the post mentioned in rule 4 by nomination shall submit a declaration of Small Family as per the provisions of the Maharashtra Civil Services (Declaration of Small Family) Rules, 2005 or any other rules, orders or any instruments issued in this behalf, by the Government, from time to time, otherwise he shall not be eligible for appointment to the post. (2) A person having more than two children on the date of submission of Declaration of Small Family, shall be disqualified for the appointment in Government Service. (3) After appointment of a person in the Government service, if it is proved that he has more than two children, then he shall be disqualified for the appointed post in Government service. 12. The seniority list of the persons appointed to post mentioned in rules 3 and 4 shall be maintained at State level. The terms and conditions specified by the Government, in any rules or resolutions issued by Government from time to time, before or subsequent to the appointment of any Government Servant shall also be applicable to the concerned Government Servant.
