Constitution of india.
No. MPSC - 1125/C.R.276/M.P.S.C.— In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (1) of
article 316 of the Constitution of India, the Governor of Maharashtra hereby appoints Shri Vivek
Laxmikant Bhimanwar, Indian Administrative Services, as Chairman, Maharashtra Public Service
Commission. The appointment shall be for a period of 6 years from the date of his joining the office
or till he attains the age of 62 years, whichever is earlier.
Till Shri Bhimanwar assumes the office and commences his duties as Chairman, the additional
charge of the vacant office of Chairman, Maharashtra Public Service Commission is hereby entrusted
to Dr. Abhay Eknath Wagh, Member, Maharashtra Public Service Commission, in accordance
with Clause (1A) of Article 316 of the Constitution of India.
