Bharatiya Nagarik SurakSha SaNhita, 2023.
No.PRO-1225/C.R.57(E-1519739)/Special-2.— In exercise of the powers conferred by section 15 of
the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (46 of 2023), the Government of Maharashtra hereby
appoints all Sector Officers, the Head of Flying Squad, the Head of Static Surveillance Team and
the Head of Video Surveillance Team appointed by the respective District Collector and the District
Election Officer in the State, to be the Special Executive Magistrate, for the period commencing
on the 15th December 2025 and ending on the 16th January 2026 for the General Election to
Mahanagarpalika, 2025 and confer upon them the powers of an Executive Magistrate under sections
148, 152, 162 and 163 of the said Sanhita.
