No.PRO-0624/C.R.31/Spl-2.— In exercise of the powers conferred by section 15 of the Bharatiya
Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (46 of 2023), and in supersession of the Government notification
Home Department, No. PRO-0624/C.R.31/Spl-2 dated 26th June 2024 issued in this behalf, the
Government of Maharashtra hereby, with effect from the date of publication of this notification in
the Official Gazette, appoints officers mentioned in column (2) of the Schedule appended hereto,
during their term of office as such officers, to be the Special Executive Magistrates and confers on
them the powers conferrable on Executive Magistrates under sections of the said Sanhita mentioned
in column (3) thereof in the area within their jurisdiction.
