NOTIFICATION Sachivalaya, Gandhinagar, 16th September, 2026 CONSTITUTION OF INDIA.

No. GKH/105/2026/ACD/EMO/e-file/2/2026/2416/K:- In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the Constitution of India and in supersession of all the rules made in this behalf, the Governor of Gujarat hereby makes the following rules to provide for regulating recruitment to the post of the Additional Registrar, Class I, in the Gujarat State Co-operative service, under the office of the Registrar Co-operative Societies, Gujarat State, namely: -

1. (1) These rules may be called the Additional Registrar, Class I, in the Gujarat State Co-operative service, Recruitment Rules, 2026.

(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.

2. Appointment to the post of the Additional Registrar, Class I, in the Gujarat State Co-operative service, under the office of the Registrar Co-operative Societies shall be made by promotion of a person who possesses 'Very Good' benchmark for being considered fit for promotion within the zone of consideration as laid down in the Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules, 1967 from amongst the persons, who, -

(i) have worked for not less than five years in the cadre of Joint Registrar, Class I, in the Gujarat State Co- operative service, under the office of the Registrar, Co-operative Societies, Gujarat State; and

(ii) have passed the qualifying examination for computer knowledge in accordance with the provisions of the Gujarat Civil Services Computer Competency Training and Examination Rules, 2006:

Provided that where the appointing authority is satisfied that the person having the experience as specified in sub-clause (i) above is not available for promotion and it is necessary in the public interest to fill up the post by 480481 GUJARAT GOVERNMENT GAZETTE EX., 24-09-2026 [ PART IV-A promotion even of a person having experience for a lesser period; it may, for reasons to be recorded in writing, promote such person who possesses experience of a period of not less than two-thirds of the period specified in sub-clause (i) above; or

3. The candidate appointed by promotion shall be required to undergo such training and pass such examination as may be prescribed by the Government.

No.GY/17/HFWD/ARA/e-file/7/2023/7652/CHH: In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the Constitution of India and in supersession of all the rules made in this behalf, the Governor of Gujarat hereby makes the following rules to provide for regulating recruitment to the post of Lecturer, Class II, in the Gujarat Ayurved Services, in the Government Ayurved Colleges, under the Directorate of AYUSH (Ayurveda, Yoga and Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and Homoeopathy), Gujarat State, namely:-

1. (1) These rules may be called the Lecturer, Class II, in the Gujarat Ayurved Services, in the Government Ayurved Colleges, under the Directorate of AYUSH (Ayurveda, Yoga and Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and Homoeopathy), Recruitment Rules, 2026.

(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.

2. Appointment to the posts of the Lecturer, Class II, in various subjects as specified in the schedule appended to these rules, in the Gujarat Ayurved Services, in the Government Ayurved Colleges, under the Directorate of AYUSH (Ayurveda, Yoga and Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and Homoeopathy) shall be made by direct selection.

3. To be eligible for appointment by direct selection to the post mentioned in rule 2, a candidate shall,-

(a) not be more than 38 years of age:

Provided that the upper age limit may be relaxed in favour of a candidate who is already in the service of the Government of Gujarat in accordance with the provisions of the Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules, 1967.

(b) possess a Post Graduate degree in the concerned subject as specified in the schedule appended to these rules or an equivalent qualification in the concerned subject as recognised by the Government obtained from any of the Universities established or incorporated by or under the Central or a State Act in India; or any other educational institution recognised as such or declared as deemed to be University under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 and recognised by the Central Council of Indian Medicine or National Commission for Indian System of Medicine.

(c) possess the basic knowledge of computer application as prescribed in the Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules, 1967; and

(d) possess adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both.

4. The candidate appointed by direct selection shall be on probation for a period of two years.

5. The candidate appointed by direct selection, during his probation period, shall be required to pass qualifying examination for computer knowledge in accordance with the provisions of the Gujarat Civil Services Computer Competency Training and Examination Rules, 2006.PART IV-A ] GUJARAT GOVERNMENT GAZETTE, 24-09-2026 482

6. The candidate appointed by direct selection shall be required to pass an examination in Hindi or Gujarati or both in accordance with the rules prescribed by the Government.

7. The candidate appointed by direct selection shall be required to undergo such training and pass such examination as may be prescribed by the Government.

8. The candidate shall be required to have his name registered with the Gujarat Council of Ayurvedic and Unani Systems of Medicine established and constituted under the Gujarat Medical Practitioners Act, 1963 at the time of his appointment, if he is not so registered.

9. The candidate appointed by direct selection shall require to furnish a security and surety bond in such form, for such amount and for such period as may be prescribed by the Government.
