Maharashtra acupuncture systeM of therapy act, 2015.
No. ACU-0323/C.R.32/ACT.—Whereas, under clause (1) of Section (3) of Maharashtra
Acupuncture System of Therapy Act, 2015 (Mah. Act No. XXV of 2017) (hereinafter referred to
as "the said Act"), the Government of Maharashtra has established the Maharashtra Council of
Acupuncture (hereinafter referred to as "the said Council") vide Government Notification dated
15th May 2018 ;
And whereas, Dr. Rumi F. Beramji was appointed as Administrator vide notification dated
September 12, 2024. His tenure as Administrator has ended on September 11, 2025. The Government
has decided to extend Dr. Rumi F. Beramji's tenure as Administrator for a further period of one
year, starting from December 8, 2025.
