NOTIFICATION Sachivalaya, Gandhinagar, 17th October, 2026 Under sub-section (5) of section 37-A of The Bombay Land Revenue Code, 1879.
No.: GHM/2026/166/M/RD/JMN/e-file/15/2023/10265/G: Whereas by Government Notification in the Revenue Department No. GHM/2023/137/M/RD/JMN/e-file/15/2023/10265/G, dated the 07/08/2023 issue under sub-section (1) of Section 37-A of the Bombay Land Revenue Code, 1879 (Bombay V of 1879), it was declared that the part of the public roads/lanes/paths specified in the schedule hereto annexed, were not required for the use of the public and that it was proposed to extinguish the rights of the public as well as of all individuals in or over the said parts of the public roads/Lanes/Paths, and
Whereas the Government of Gujarat is satisfied after considering the record of the proceedings and the report of the Collector under sub-section (4) of the said section of the said Act, that the said parts of the said Roads/Lanes/Paths are not required for the use of the public.
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (5) of the said section of the said Act, the Government of Gujarat is pleased to declare that all right of the public as well as of all individuals in or ever the said parts of the said Roads/Lanes/Paths are hereby extinguished.

હવે, સદરહું કલમની પેટા કલમ-૫ અન્વયે મળેલી સત્તાની રૂએ, ગ જરાત સરકાર આથી જાહેર કરે છે કે, સદરહું રસ્તાના ભાગો કે ઉક્ત ભાગમાાંના અથવા તે પરના જાહેર જનતાના તેમજ બધી વયચક્તઓના બધા હક્કોનો આથી અાંત લાવવામાાં આવે છે.

1. Whereas sub-section (1) of Section 20 of the Gujarat Maritime Board Act, 1981 states all property, assets and funds and all rights to levy rates vested in the State Government for the purpose of the port immediately before such day, shall vest in the board.
2. And whereas Government of Gujarat has decided to vest in the Gujarat Maritime board, the land vested the State Government for the purpose of port as specified herein below.
