The High Court of Judicature at Bombay, in Election Petition No. 29 of 2019 between Sachin Bharat Thorat (Petitioner) and Yashwant Vitthal Mane (Respondent), with Application No.1 of 2023 and Application (L) No.31644 of 2024, issued a judgment/order on October 25, 2024. Mr. Chintamani K. Bhangoji represented the Petitioner, and Mr. Atul Damle, Sr. Advocate i/by Mr. Jagdish Reddy (Aradwad) represented the Respondent and Applicant in Application (L) No.31644 of 2024. The Coram was N.J. Jamadar, J. The court noted that the election program for the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly - 2024 General Elections had been notified. The Petitioner's Counsel submitted that the petition had become infructuous due to this notification and requested an appropriate order.
