THE GUJARAT SENIOR CITIZEN PROTECTION FORCE BILL, 2026. GUJARAT BILL NO. 14 OF 2026. A BILL To provide for the establishment of the Gujarat Senior Citizens Protection Force for the protection of life, properties and interests of Senior Citizen in the State of Gujarat and for matters connected therewith. It is hereby enacted in the Seventy-seventh year of the Republic of India as follows :- 1. (1) This Act may be called the Gujarat Senior Citizens Protection Force Act, 2026. short title, extent and (2) It extends to the whole of the State of Gujarat. commencement. STATEMENT OF OBJECTS AND REASONS There are remarkable population of Senior Citizen in the State. To tackle problems of their safety & security it is considered necessary to establish the senior citizen protection force. This will hamper/ jeopardise the life, properties and interests of senior citizens. Hence the establishment of such force is a must and necessity. The Bill seeks to achieve the above objects.
